Is She the One?

I think if the man is asking that question then whoever is in question is NOT the one. If he is being faithful to the Lord and busy about His business then I believe that God will be faithful to confirm that to him and he will KNOW without any shadow of doubt that she belongs to him. I think we ask the question "Is he/she the one? " so much because we are looking to much. But once our eyes get off of ourselves and get busy about the Lord's biz in due season God will bring her.
The Bible talks about us being content in whatever situation we are in and I believe that alot of times God doesn't bring her/him to us because we are not content with just Him. We don't fully delight ourselves in God and if we are not fully satisfied with God why would God bring someone to us that could possibly take His place? I think if we satisfy and delight ourselves in Him we will almost forget that we even want to get married because He fulfills us so much that the desire almost is forgotten.
Of course this is easier said than done because we all have our human emotions. For me, when I got saved in 05 I just vowed to myself that I wouldn't date or look for anyone and just focus and wait on the Lord. So for 5 years I was single by choice and most people couldn't understand how or why. I just kept my eyes on God and I honestly forgot about even wanting to be with someone. But then I got distracted and tired of waiting and started dating someone which was a complete mistake and I wasted a few years trying to make something work that wasn't God's will. Now my attitude is I obviously don't know what's best for me so how about I just be like Rebecca and wait by the well. lol! I am to through with looking and I'm just doing what I was doing before…focusing on the Lord and letting Him work things out in His own time!
